Green Acres is our family farm, established in 1894 and located in Eastern Wisconsin just north of Chilton. Although our family has lived and worked in the Twin Cities since 1980, we’ve continued to steward this land with the same care and commitment passed down through generations.
With lifelong interests in athletics, fitness, and nutrition, we’ve combined our passions with our heritage to raise natural, genetically superior beef for the people who matter most — our friends, family, and customers.
Our Cattle and Care
We focus on genetics and nutrition to produce beef that is both lean and tender. Our herd combines Piedmontese bulls with cows influenced by Limousin, Hereford, and Angus breeds, resulting in beef that is naturally healthful without sacrificing flavor.
Calves are weaned at about 550 lbs and finished on a balanced ration of hay, corn, and soy protein. Processing is completed at state- or federally-inspected facilities, with cuts customized to your specifications.
From genetics to processing, we can provide a complete history of your beef — and your family will taste the difference.
